I have been a Soo Bahk Do member since 2010. I really enjoy excersizing with the Soo Bahk Do institute. I am a first gup, and have worked really hard on getting it. I love the hyungs and defense technics they teach. I became a white belt in the year 2010 and had private lessons. My sob bom nim is a very caring, respected man. I would like to get my dan sometime, and must work very hard on getting it. I am on part time disability, and have a hard ship. I do work for the dojang a few hours a week to pay for my lessons. I started back in the month of August, and would like to train as much as possible. I do not get over to the dojang enouph, and would like to go more often. I really enjoy the rich history it has, and all the intelligent people i meet there. I have trained at two other schools as well, different types of martial arts. I have read my gup and dan manual, a few times, word for word. I really enjoy all the neat things they teach. I would like to get my promotion certificates reprinted, if at all possible. I bought the white belt and green belt DVD’s. I have learned quite a bit about the institute and do not have any problems with other people, except for two incidents. I had to use my martial art to protect myself. I have learned a lot of discipline, history, tradition, and philosophy in the Soo Bahk Do art. I would like to learn all i can, and become a professional. I am going to try to go after my dan, and will enjoy every minute of it. It has been a long time since i first started Washin-Ryu, made it to blue belt there. I also studied, Tae Kwon Do, did not get that far. I have had better luck at the Soo Bahk Do institute. I would like to further my education, work, and go to classes.
